Die Startkoordinaten führen zum Wohnhaus einer damals bedeutenden Persönlichkeit Greifswalds. Dort erfährt man sowohl ihren Namen als auch die heutige Hausnummer. Mit diesen Angaben sollen die Koordinaten der nächsten Station berechnet werden.

E 013° 22.(Y-W)(Z)(V-5X),
wobei gilt:
V = Anfangsbuchstabe des ersten Vornamens,
W = Anfangsbuchstabe des zweiten Vornamens,
X = Anfangsbuchstabe des Nachnamens,
Y = Hausnummer,
Z = Anzahl der weißen Blumen an der Haustür.
Es gilt außerdem A=1, Z=26.
An den Zielkoordinaten angekommen, kann man „ein Denkmal mit Persönlichkeit(en)“ bewundern. Zur Einweihung desselben war der gesuchte Geist der Zeit die einzige noch lebende der vom Denkmal abgebildeten Personen.
Seine Verdienste werden sehr unterschiedlich beurteilt: einerseits positiv als Demokrat und deutscher Patriot, aber andererseits auch negativ als Nationalist und Antisemit.
Zu seiner Rechten sitzend ist eine weitere Persönlichkeit dargestellt, die die Medizinische Fakultät der hiesigen Universität repräsentiert.

The starting coordinates take you to the house of a major personality of Greifswald of his/her time. There you will get to know both his name and the number of the house as it is today. Given this information, you can calculate the coordinates of the next station as follows:

The person you are looking for is depicted on this monument and was the only person still alive at the time of its inauguration. His services to society are judged very differently: on the one hand, positively as a democrat and a German patriot, but on the other hand negatively as a nationalist and an anti-Semite.
Sitting at his right side, there is another person who represents the medical faculty of the local university.
In order to discover the correct individuals, it is advisable to read about the monument and its personalities in advance.
Also for the second personality a memorial plaque was attached at a frequently visited university building which is in a distance of 129 meters.
