Onclo is a local man who served with and was a buddy of the most decorated soldier of World War Two - Audie Murphy. Onclo was also a highly deocorated soldier and when Murphy made his well known war movie " To Hell and Back" in 1955, he asked Onlco to come to Hollywood to play himself. Onlco respectfully declined the offer saying " it's crop plantin time in Trinidad."
You'll find Onclo on the mural painting across the storefront standing proudly in his military uniform. If you e-mail me Onlco's last name, you can claim an additional smiley.
