This is a very cool park, but not the easiest place to get to. If
you time is short and you can't venture all the way in, here is a
nice little cache to give you a small taste of what Ash Brook has
to offer.
Many years ago, there were plans to add tons of parking, build
several soccer fields, etc, but local residents did not want to see
the park further developed. So it remains an underutilized gem of a
place. Can be very swampy in the warmer months, but has great cross
country skiing in the winter.
Utilize parking for this park at the Union County Vocational
Technical School. Public access to the park can also be had a bit
to the southwest at the Union County Police Academy.
