Reeve House. Before they moved into the house, they lived in a grannary in the back.

Hurricane's First Family.

3/4 Zion Plat house. The town is laid out in the Zion Plat. 10-acre
blocks, divided into 4 21/2-acre parcels. This lot is about 3/4
that size. If you take 1/2 of the lot to the East, it would be the
original size.

The Isom Victorian Home. Must have been a show place in
its day.
D=The last number in the date that Samuel became bishop of
the Hurricane Ward 190___

This lot is very close to the size of the Zion Plat lot. Those who worked on the Hurricane canal received a lot of this size in town and 10 acres in the fields.They would have their house on the corner and a garden with a milk cow, chickens, and usually a pig. They were a hardy bunch.

The Bradshaw House and Museum. Take a minute to explore. Very interesting history.
F=the fourth number in the date M.H. Hinton was born 186__.

This house is a good example of the"Craftsman Bungalo" style. There are a few other houses in town in the same style.

This DUP monument recounts the first settlement of Hurricane. While here, explore the nearby museum. Quait and interesting.

The Stanworth Home--now a bed and breakfast. Was once used as a women's "birthing hospital".
J=the number of letters in the wife's name.
The final cahe is on the "H" hill and affords a great view of the
valley. To get there, you will need a high clearance and maybe 4X4
if you try to go up the rocky road. The best way is to find the
"Little GirlsDress-Up Cache" (GC181GC), and walk down the road from there. The cache is under a rock outcrop and could pose some danger of slippage. Please be careful. Enjoy the history!!
