knowschad: rachelquick emailed me with a photo of the remains. It was a good but difficult cache. Time to put this unique cache to rest.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

In Valley Park in Mendota Heights, a short distance off of a paved trail, in a tall pine grove.

Smell the scent of the pine needles as you approach this cache. I just love that smell, the soft carpet of needles to walk on, and the soft light that filters down through the boughs.

The cache is in plain sight. No need to tear things up, move stuff around or any of that. Just use your senses.

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, copy/paste boilerplate, and emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
