IHO: Grandma Ellen Traditional Cache
Calipers: Shoot, I was in Seeley just last week and couldn't find it myself but forgot to archive it when I got my hands on technology again. Bye, Grandma. I still miss you.

This cache is in honor of Grandma Ellen (1917 – 1997) who lived near here until she passed away in the home that Grandpa built. I have many fond memories of coming to this area and visiting with Grandma and her wonderful brothers and sisters, most of whom also lived here in Seeley and worked in the sawmill. One of the things I will never forget is her home-made bread rolls. They would melt in your mouth, and we would gobble them up right out of the oven to the point that I usually couldn’t finish my dinner from being too full. Grandma taught me how to canoe, just north of here on the Namekagen, and I look forward to reliving those memories every time I come back here. She would play her accordion for hours on end and we would sit around and sing songs. She taught me this song when I was a little one, and I'll never forget it:
In Heaven, there is no beer
That’s why we drink it here
And when we’re gone from here
Our friends will be drinking all the beer
I sure miss you, Grandma. Maybe there really is no beer in Heaven, but I hope they make you a 7 & 7 now and then.
