West of a Katastari townlet in the middle, mountainous part of the
Zakynthos Island you can find this traditional cache.
The coordinates will bring you to a marvelous Baroque church of
the Venetian type from where the island landscape will appear
clearly. To your left in the Ionian Sea you will see the Kefalonia
Island, to your right the Peloponnesus.
After finding the cache we recommend you to continue up North,
cross the mountains and visit two old villages Maries and Exo
Chora. The latter one is the only one that was not damaged by the
earthquake in 1953. From Exo Chora you can continue to the Italian
Watchtower at the rocky cliffs of the western seashore. An ideal
place to hide a cache!
