Hidden on the Pine Mountain Trail. This cache will require a moderate hike in and a round trip up in the four plus mile range. Come prepared for a trip of that type.
There are so many magnificent views from Pine Mountain of the surrounding Appalachian Mountain chain. We a lucky to live in the middle of the Blue Ridge portion of the Appalachians and I just wanted everyone to stop and take a few moments to consider how blessed we are while enjoying the view from this particular overlook. The cache is located at an elevation of 2883 feet and requires a roundtrip hike of four plus miles.
The cache container is a 35mm film cannister and contains only a log sheet and a foreign coin for a FTF prize. BYOP because you would sure hate to hike back out for one. Enjoy your day of hiking a be careful on the trail.
