Got Rain? This is part of a "Summer Splash" series. This gem of a wayside park will give you a breathtaking view of a portion of the Presidential Range.
Parking for the wayside park is about N44 14.359 W071 25.512. There is a short steep walk up to the viewing area. There is a large wooden information plaque there. From this view you will see Mt. Jefferson, Clay, Washington, Monroe, Franklin, Eisenhower, Clinton, Jackson and Webster!! Also, a picnic table for a refreshing break. The cache is close by, a snap and snap container, ready for trading. For FTF there is a Crawford Notch State Park Hiking and Trails Summits Map with two modified sea shells you can sew on clothing.
9/26/09 I was back to the site with a friend geocaching and decided to move it a bit as I didn't realize at first it was very close to a letterbox. I don't want the letterbox stamp taken by mistake and I don't want other geocachers leaving items by mistake in the letterbox. Enjoy!
