Birds Eye View Traditional Cache

This cache is located at the top of Hawks Peak, one of Team Tahoe Cabdo's favorite hiking trails in Truckee. These trails are great for hiking and mountain biking in the summer, and during the winter these trails are used for cross country skiing and snow shoeing.
The trail head is located off of Skislope Way in Tahoe Donner. There are several ways to get to the cache, I recommend planning out a loop hike. Whichever route you take up to the top, it is at least 2 miles up.
The cache is a regular sized tupperware container. It contains a pen, log book, and some 35mm film canisters for the FTF. One of the film canisters is ready to hide with a log and baggie.
Please hide just as you found it, if not better! Bring some lunch and enjoy the view.
