Geocaching has open my eyes to a richer way of looking at things, most of all the beauty of the great outdoors. Living in the Seattle suburbs for the last 30 years, I have always liked this one particular road. The road winds through the forest or for a small amount of time it seems to be a forest. You forget you are in the suburbs with the trees crossing over the road and the small stream that seems to come from nowhere and runs parallel to the road, then disappears again as if it wanted to add to the serenity of it all. Of all the times I have been on this small stretch of road, I have never noticed that it had a few pull offs so you could stop and look at the stream. Across the stream you can see trees that have fallen like pickup sticks from winter storms past.
I wanted to share my small patch of serenity with all you geocachers out there.
