OLD ELSEY
HOMESTEAD
Elsey Homestead.
Originally established by Abraham Wallace in 1880, old Elsey was
taken up by Aeneas and Jeannie Gunn in 1902. Aeneas Gunn died the
following year and Jeannie returned south.
The homestead
remained at this site along with the outbuildings, yards and a
small cemetery to the north. Some years later the homestead was
moved and re-erected at a new site north-east of
here. |

The cache contains a log and pen to record
your visit and a couple of small swaps.
