A moderate hike, mostly along well maintained paths, with a rock scramble up to the cache. Probably not suitable for very young children, but children 9-10 and older should be fine.
There are several routes to choose from, but the most convenient starting point is the Silvermine East car park. From here, follow the route up Wolfkop Steps and along the path to S34° 05.703 E018° 26.594 where the path goes over a large flat rock and is marked by a small cairn.
From here, head up the rocks to S34° 05.704 E018° 26.599. Make you way around the West side and across the open scrub to S34° 05.733 E018° 26.589 at the base of a large bolder.
Climb up the bolder and on up the slopping rocks. From the top of this section, make you way around to the East side of the rocks, up a small rock step, and on to S34° 05.752 E018° 26.606. Here you will find yourself at the base of a small climb. At the top, it's a short way to the summit and the nearby cache.
