COON DOG CEMETERY
This is quite an amazing spot. Over 150 champion coon dogs from all over the nation are buried here. All are either Champion, Nite Champion, or Grand Nite Champion coon dogs. ("Nite" is the correct spelling for this title.) The first one, Troop, was buried here in 1937. This is truly in the middle of nowhere, but well worth a visit, even if you don't know anything about coon hunting. A pavilion is near, and it's a good site for a picnic lunch. very quiet, very remote, and very different from anything I've ever seen.
This hide is not remarkable for anything other than the location.
