Follow one of Tiger Mtns. longer, but less used, trails (hint) to a leprechauns pot of gold. Brimming with all sorts of "golden" goodies. Just beware that some of the better trades may be cached within the cache. I plan, on occasion, to go by and place more "golden" goodies in the future.
There is not a easy way to this cache. There will be elevation gain and loss. The shortest route to this cache is about 2.5 miles from the Tradition Plateau Trail Head. There are many ways to get to the cache and you will need to travel on several different trails. I suggest a loop trip to savor some of what the area has to offer. The trail that the cache is off of, at this time of the year, is sort of overgrown due to the lack of use (hint). Use care. There are relics of the old logging to be seen and there are a couple of steep up and downs to cross streams (hint). I have checked the co-ords several times. Most recently with full leaf coverage. At the cache I didn't have a problem getting a signal but a short distance away, on the trail, it was worse. The cache is about 30 feet off the trail, to the north side (hint). You will not have to bushwhack, it's more of a bush wade. Please try not to create a geotrail. The cache is located at an elevation of approx. 2000 feet (hint). Happy Trails.
