WARNING: The area was subject to a DSE fuel reduction burn in November 2009 and as such there may be weaked trees and branches that could fall without warning. Exercise care.
For as long as people can remember Mr P has had a fascination for maps and all things topographical and spatial. This cache has been placed more for the journey than the prize.
In order to complete this cache you will need to have a GPS’r with a bearing/distance facility and for some it might be useful to have some idea what a back bearing is. Alternatively you might like to use a compass!
Once at the published co-ordinates you should simply head in a direction of 156ºT (145ºM) for a distance of 174m.
Once there you should be able to locate a 200ml Sistema container holding a log book, pen and some goodies. The container is positioned in a traditional fashion that will be familiar to Geocachers.
As you walk through the area be sure to note the regrowth from the DSE fuel reduction burn, it is particularily proment in the vicinity of the cache site.
