iPond Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

m3a9: After the recent Needs Maintenance log, I came by today to inspect the cache site. I knew the tree had been damaged, but all was still in place a few weeks ago. Indeed, the broken tree was trimmed and the cache is MIA; no evidence was found of it anywhere around GZ, just lots of ducks & geese. After some consideration, I'm going to archive this listing, since it's had a good nearly 5-year run. Thanks to everyone who came out to visit this one!! [:D]

Geocache Description:

This cache is located near a scenic spot in Martinsburg – Henry’s Pond. It is just a short park & walk to the cache, which should be an easy find. Round trip distance is only a few hundred feet, at most.

There is a bench or two nearby to sit and enjoy the area for a bit – you may want to bring along some bread, cereal, or dog food to feed the ducks. Watch your step, as the area is littered with droppings. Please take care to re-hide the cache carefully and beware the muggles (& duggles). The cache container is a .85 qt. clear plastic Lock & Lock box. Note that there are “No Fishing” signs posted in the area. As always, please remember to be respectful & CITO.

If there are any issues with the cache, please let me know ASAP. Don't decrypt the hint unless you are really stumped, as it is a total spoiler. Happy hunting!

*Congratulations to KIOTI for FTF!!!*

***Cache went MIA & was replaced on 06.08.10 - container is now a 2-cup Ziploc container, same placement.***
