A2 Rocks! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Sissycats: With all of the logging and clearing around the area this one has gone missing and without knowing what trees will be here in the near future I think it's best to archive it.

Geocache Description:

Medium lock-n-lock container hidden in the rocks. There is a day use fee in the summer but if you ask the Camp Host nicely they may give you a pass to come in and look around. UPDATE MAY 2012 There will be new hosts this year so you may just have to pay the $3 fee or park at the entrance and walk in.

We have three granddaughters whose names all begin with the letter A. No matter which name we try to say the wrong one comes out. My husband has renamed them in order of their birth, A1, A2, and A3. This is our second cache, which was hidden with A2, hence the name. We were going to head for some different rocks to place this cache but a local cacher told me about some Indian rocks near this cache so we came this way instead. After you find the cache look around for the big oak tree and you'll find rocks where Indians used to grind their meal. You'll also have a very nice view of Dorabelle Cove from here. Head down the hill a few feet and take a swim! Please respect the privacy of anyone camping in the nearby campsite by going around their site not through it. Please replace the cache as well or better than you found it and use the surrounding materials to provide cover.
