Geocache Description:

A brand new stop along the bike path overlooking the Arkansas River. A 1-1 from the Evil One, can it be? Enjoy!

The Arkansas River is the sixth longest river in the United States, and a major tributary of the great Mississippi River. Throughout it's 1,649 mile length, the river supports a vast and diverse population of wildlife. In Kansas alone, the river creates habitat and sustenance for over 387 bird, 135 fish, and, 81 mammal species. The monument walls found here display a small sample of what can be found in this region, as well as offer a great view of the river. Stop for a moment and read up on our always interesting local history.
