Viðey is an island near Reykjavík. One has to take a ferry to get there.
The cache is a small plastic box, under a stone.
In the summer, the ferry goes 15 minutes on the hour, every day from 11:15-19:15.
In winter, it goes from 13:15-15:15 on weekends.
