One Particular Harbour Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

-allenite-: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This is a replacement cache as someone muggled the original. It was put back in service on Mother's Day 2011. For the replacement cache FTF, there is the "License to Chill" travel bug waiting to start his on his journey "Off to See the Keys!". Make sure to take a moment and enjoy the view!

This cache was placed in service on July 6, 2009 by my son and me. It is called "One Particular Harbour" because Jimmy Buffett is one of our favorite musicians and that is the title to our favorite song.

The view from the cache location is one of our own favorite harbours and we have spent many sunny afternoons playing there. As the song says "And there’s that one particular harbour, sheltered from the wind, where the children play on the shore each day, and all are safe within."

The original contents of the cache are:
  • A log book and pencil
  • A set of tropical shirt Post-It notes
  • A Corona Beer patch
  • 2 Corona pins
  • A "Cheeseburger in Paradise" shotglass
  • A Corona Land Shark Travel Bug

IA ORA TE NATURA
E MEA AROFA TEIE AO NEI

That's Tahitian for:
Nature Lives (Life to Nature),
Have pity for the Earth (Love the Earth)

Isn't that what Geo-Caching is all about?
