This park/nature preserve consists of approximately 100 acres of
wetlands, streams, springs, waterfalls, forested ravines and other
natural and historic features. The park is located at the northern
city limits off US 127/Holmes Street. The park is intended for
activities such as walking, hiking, nature observation,
environmental education, picnicking and other passive activities.
It features the following facilities:
Three miles of trails with interpretive signs
(A portion of trail is handicapped accessible)
Two interpretive centers with displays on natural
and historic features of the park/preserve
Shelter and picnic facilities
Restrooms
Children’s Memorial
Cache is a ammo can placed very near the trail please no
bushwacking, and if you find yourself way of the beaten path its
not on the way to this cache. Again no night caching in this
area!!!
I will be placing a few more on the trails very soon so hopefully
everyone likes this one. Cache is a Ammo can with a log a few trade
items it will be started with two trackables i picked up this
week.
