Three Hundred EightySeventh in the Famous People (FP) Series - Clarabell
Three actors played Clarabell. The first was Bob Keeshan, who later became Captain Kangaroo. Keeshan was succeeded by Bobby Nicholson, who also played the character of J. Cornelius Cobb on The Howdy Doody Show. Lew Anderson was the third and last person to play Clarabell. Anderson played the character from 1954 until the series' final show on September 24, 1960.
Clarabell, who wore a baggy, striped costume, communicated by honking a horn for "yes" or "no."
That's pretty much what you'll be doing with these first 4 stages. But all 4 are quick and easy with either little or no walking involved and 100% guaranteed to be there. And the time to get to the final?.....about 10 minutes. Remember, little or no walking to each stage unless you want to. Now finding the final 5th stage, well that's a different story. You have to earn the rating somehow. The cache is a small, bison tube sized, 2ML plastic tube as shown in the picture below.
