Geocache Description:

This is a Pelican container that your looking for. PARK IN THE GUEST PARKING SPACE ON EACH END OF THE PARKING LOT!

This is one of my favorite places to be in the world. If you are new to the keys and have never been here make some time to go to Key West. This little lagoon is filled with fish. Every once in a while you may see a Snook, Tarpon, Bonefish, big Baracuda or a school of about 20 jacks. If you are just trying to get a few caches you could bring a rod with a lure and cast a few times. You might also encounter some snakes in hear, nothing to worry about though because the only ones I have seen are the Black Racers which are non-venomous. If you enjoy kayaking further north on the main road of Coco Plum there is a state park called Curry Hammock State Park. If you Do not feel comfortable going through the main entrance you can always bush whack thru but be careful. I am hoping to see your catch of the day. HOPE YOU ENJOY THE FL KEYS!
