This is a small geocaching locknlock hidden in the woods behind Durant's largest retail establishment. I accessed it twice from behind the building during the busiest time and saw no one. It's best to find the well beaten trail and reach the cache from it. It's well hidden from muggles, so hide it as you found it. It was crammed full, with a GeoWoodstock VI unactivated coin for FTF, but since someone wrote and asked for the real coords, that is gone. There still might be neat stuff!
I visit sis a couple times a year. I got her into caching and we cache all over. This year she has a fiance who calls Durant, Do-rant. It got me singing this song, till sis threatened to clobber me if I didn't stop. Since she and digger will be looking out for my cache, between visits, I thought I'd just name it after the song and the town : ) The cache is in a piece of the wild, in the middle of what must be the center of life in Durant. I got a pedicure here, had my toenails painted florescent green, and in the process made friends with a Vietnamese student from OU, who introduced me to her friends, one of whom taught me how to pick the best watermelons. While drying those same nails, I met a widowed ranch lady, who, though initially appalled at the sight of my feet, ended up as a friend, and we had a lengthy conversation on a wide range of subjects. I live in Seattle, and though we have an eclectic diversity of people, they are in no way as open and friendly as the folks I've met here in Oklahoma. I hope that placing caches and helping sis and digger place caches, will in a small way help Do-rant remember me : )
