Container is a small camo taped cylindrical container with screw top. This cache is too small for tradeable items but contains Ignace pins for the taking. Also contains a log and pencil. Picnic tables are available at this area and while you're here why not take a picture of the plane. The aircraft was built from parts of three planes and erected here on false floats in 1995, the work being done by Ken Rosche and Richard Hulina. The original plane - CA-222 3NM - was built in 1952 and assigned to the Royal Canadian Air Force. While the Beech 18 was never intended to be used for the "budget-conscious" pilot because the two P&W 985 radial engines will consume close to a barrel of fuel per hour, it is capable of being a perfect, no-frills, bush plane. Twin Beech aircraft will cruise at speeds close to 200mph on wheels and 145mph on floats, and can haul 8 people. Just a note, the flowerbeds in this area are part of an ongoing beautification project and may have people working on it at times.
