A Richland landmark for many years, The "Fingernail" is a soundstage in Howard Amon Park. It was created in the early 1960s, "salvaged from a rock quarry" in the 1970s, and moved here. Another source says it was moved here in 1982. (Its formal name is The Ellipse.)
Many events and performances are enjoyed at this unique location every year.
