2009 Summer Picnic

Rosaryville State Park

EVERYONE is welcome!
Join us at 11:00 am for a day of fun including caching, talking, eating, and friendship. We'll also have a brief "business" meeting to go over what's happening with the MGS. Several new caches will also be placed for the event.


Rosaryville is a 982 acre day-use park and the location of the historic Mount Airy Mansion. Miles of trails for hiking, biking and equestrians are available for day use. To gain access to Rosaryville State Park, make a right turn into the entrance just south of Osborne Road while traveling south on U.S. 301.

Please bring a dish to share (post a "Will Attend" log if you're planning to come, along with the dish you plan to bring.) Pets are welcome, provided they are leashed. The event will be rain or shine! It's a good idea to put the event on your watchlist in case there are any updates.

Caches will be accessible by hiking, bicycling and other non motorized means. Click on the related web page link above to learn more about this great park!! ***Please note that there is a $3 parking fee for Maryland residents and $4 for out of state (honor system).
