Geocache Description:

A small cache hidden in the pleasant Fendalton Park.

From the Christchurch City Library website:

Fendalton Park (originally a Domain) was a gift to the community from the Misses Kate and Annie Gerard (sisters of Mary Rutherford) whose family home "Willowbrook" stood approximately at the present location of Willowbrook Place, off Fendalton Road. The land that was gifted was part of the substantial acreage surrounding the home. The area of the park is 5 hectares and the perimeter is 1 km.

Somewhere in those 5 hectares (at the given coordinates), is the cache.

The park has a playground, playing fields and even a bowling club. The park can be quite busy during the day so beware of muggles.
