Geocache Description:

This hide was going to be near a trail from downtown over Redwood Falls and on to Ramsey Park, where there is a flower box, a bench and a sign telling about A. C. Burmiester, but due to the close proximity to another cache, it took on a strange new form. Parking is available in Ramsey Park, or downtown Redwood Falls.

If hiking in from downtown, be sure to stop and read the sign above the mill pond (my original cache site). The new hide is the first multi-cache in Redwood Falls. Along with that it is probably the most difficult hike you will find in the area. Parents: hold on to your progeny, as there are some shear cliffs along the trail. The view of the falls and Burmiester's power plant that the trail offers is spectacular, and therefore a worthwhile trek. The first stage is a match container holding the coordinates for the second, and final, stage. There you will be looking for a camo'd nut jar. inside you will find a log book, farmer, cookie monster, marbles, coins, a golf ball, F-50, carbiner, compass whistle, and other items for trade. There is a lot of room for trackables. Please be careful on the trail.
