Geocache Description:

The cache is located towards the summit of the Kuliouou West Ridge. The terrain is steep and can be wet. Experienced Hikers Cache! the general altitude of the cache is close to 2000'.

You will want to start this hike at the beginning of the Kuliouou West Ridge trailhead. Before you reach the top of the ridge you will use two ropes. Once on top follow your GPS to the summit. Along the way you will pass through several fruit tree groves and a couple of nice pine tree sections.... shade. After you use the third rope you will want to use your gps'r. Located in a nice small, flat shady spot before you make your final ascent. Cache can be found within six feet of trail. Wear pants and good shoes! (bug repellant optional)
The Cache started with a United Diabetes Travel Bug, a charm of the goddess Guan Yin, & a 2 dollar Hong Kong coin.
