I have always admired the Wild Horse statue atop the nearby hill when driving past and thought this would be a good spot for a cache. This container is part of a seed cache by The Screaming Banschees, TRIPPLE AAA ROAD SIDE SEED CACHE, GC1PQ8W, which was designed to help get more caches along Highway 20 between Millican and Burns. This cache was intended for the travelers who don't always have a lot of time to search.
The BLM runs this facility and it's open to the public Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM seasonally, so check it out. BLM Oregon's Wild Horse Facility website
Plenty of room to pull off the highway, but please don't block the entrance. Depending on the time of year be aware of the resident critters in the area. Be sure to bring your own writing stick.
