JOE WV EXIT 23

The JOE cache series was started by altosaxplayer, a member of the Tri-Cities Geocachers.

The name JOE means "Just Off Exit".

This series was started as an Interstate 68 equivalent to the "Loop to Loop" and I-81 cache series that was started in Nashville TN by cgeek.

The JOE caches are placed no more than two tenths of a mile from the exit and the hint is a dead give away to the cache location. JOE caches are an easy way to pick up more cache finds while traveling.

This will be Number One of our West Virginia I 68 JOE series.

When planning our trips we always struggle with which caches really will be quick grabs and which may end as disasters and getting lost in an unfamiliar city.

This cache is meant as a quick grab for those traveling through the area and a nice fast smiley for those that already live here. Copied from VWDave's caches in VA and scrubjsm in Wv

Now for the cache search

As with all Joe’s you’ll find this micro just Off the Bruceton Mills Exit, Exit 23 in West Virginia. It is best gotten from the East Bound side but easily accessable from both directions with easy on and off of the Interstate.

The micro you seek is a waterproof Match holder with just a log and stash note inside so make sure you bring along your pen.

Easily accessed from the nearby parking lot for the park-n-riders, No Bushwacking is required.

A busy parking lot and traffic going by makes for a Stealthy hunt and as Always when caching with Children, Know of their location at all times.
