Downtown Goldsboro like many cities has become deserted as businesses moved to malls. This part of town has had a recent revival. Notice the large painted mural across the street of a farmer's market.
When we placed the cache we could hear a lot of movement overhead. At first we thought it was mice or rats. All of a sudden pigeons flew out. They seemed a bit perturbed.
*** Notice the Vollis Simpson Whirligig across the street. It is a new addition in downtown Goldsboro.
