Your host for the night will be me;
Bernie,
and I will be there from
6.30pm.
This an opportunity to meet and greet other cachers in the area
over a glass of your favourite tipple and to enjoy some good pub
grub. I am hoping that we will use the upsatairs area (Left as you
enter the main entrance) for our event and we will "bag" some
tables early on to allow people to sit and eat. There is also a
large Beer Garden next to the river which is a great place to be if
the weather is good to us.
Food does not need to be pre ordered, but there is a menu here
so that you can decide what you want before you arrive and then
order at the bar as soon as you wish. There is also a good
childrens menu. If it gets very busy you may have to wait a bit,
but the service and food is excellent here.
Hopefully Explorer Olway will bring his Red Ammo box to hold and
allow TB's and Geocoins to be discovered before moving on their
journeys with new cachers. This is always fun!
Miksomas and DeeDee will be organising the raffle which promises
to be bigger and better than all previous meets. Watch out for a
note on this later.
Event #7 was big and it would be great to
make this the biggest, but we will need nearly 40 to make it a
record!. It is prime holiday season though, so
Cachers from Hampshire and anywhere else are all welcome. The
more the merrier.
Fantastic attendance!! just a couple to log their visit and coins
and TB's to be logged out before we close off this one.
