Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the floodwall that protects the City of Chillicothe from the floods of the mighty Scioto River. The floodwall also doubles as a bikeway. And, there are benches and picnic tables available to those who wish to stop and rest, picnic, or just enjoy the view. The only way to get to this cache is to hike or bike from one of several access points; no motorized vehicles are allowed.

Wear a sturdy pair of shoes (no sandals) when you look for this one. Rocks are involved.

This is the first of several new caches I will be placing along this route. There are presently two other caches that are not a part of this series that you might want to pick up while you are in the area, if you have not already done so:
- Strawser (GC1J343)
- Where Have The Boys of Summer Gone? (GC1J40F)

The cache container is large enough for trading items, so feel free. There is a prize of a new gold $1 coin for the FTF.

Because of the high usage of this facility, STEALTH IS REQUIRED while searching for this cache.
