This cache is located in Flushing Township Nature Park, which is located at 8301 N. McKinley Rd., Flushing, MI 48433. Trail maps are usually available at the park, or you can view one here: FTNP Trail Map. Parking is available at N43 07.521 W 083 51.624.
FTNP consists of 130 acres of prairie, wetlands, and forested land. The perimeter trail is a 2 mile hike, with a 3/4 mile section along the Flint River. Facilities include a pavilion, restroom, and a playground.
The hours of operation for FTNP are from sunrise to sunset. The park gate is opened and closed by the Flushing Township Police Department. Trespassing beyond the park hours is prohibited and will be enforced as a civil infraction.
The cache is a small camouflaged Lock & Lock container with room for small trading items only. You do not need to leave the boardwalk to retrieve this cache.
Please beware of muggles when seeking this cache. Also, when finished, make sure to close the lid tightly and hide the cache as found. In order to claim this cache as "found" you must physically find the container and sign the log book.
