Many thanks to Dani Church who runs the ferry, for her help in placing the cache and helping to maintain it. She is the fourth generation to run the ferry taking over from her dad a very well spoken man who had time for everyone.
If you see her say Scarecrow Rog said hello, but be careful if she is counting her strokes, you could end up on the Yarmouth sand banks.
I reckon she has the best job in the World. You work in a beautiful place, travel, have plenty of fresh air, and meet people that thrust money in your hands all day long. I mean how hard can it be sitting down all day?
Whilst in the area please find the new Walberswick Church micro and my other three Suffolk caches near Eastbridge. Or why not venture down into darkest south Essex where my ten Scarecrow Rog Hadleigh Castle "Ring of Fire" caches are waiting in the beautiful Hadleigh Country Park.
Or for the ultimate challenge, The Most Remote Cache In Essex What's The Point, a six mile remote walk that my Wife Polly Styrene runs.
This cache has fantastic fish and chips, Line caught cod for sale and Adnams beer just a short stroll away also a cafe that does a special of Mushrooms on toast the local staple diet of fishermen. This sleepy part of coastal Suffolk is fast becoming a hot spot for discerning cachers with the excellent Walberswick Jaunt series by MrLifeboat. Now if you cant get his number 6 I will reveal all for a pint of the Adnams sweet water.
