Near Christchurch town centre.
The Recreation Ground in Christchurch covers 10 acres, and was given to the people in 1878 for 'recreation and exercise in perpetuity'.
Since then, apart from the football and cricket pitches, it has seen a multitude of uses - carnivals, the coronation celebrations, the annual funfair, motor shows, and for a period until 1993 the Balloon Theatre was located there, providing childrens and adult shows for visitors every summer.
This is a traditional cache, containing a large number of robins (as you would expect from this owner!). Please take one, and deposit him in the next cache you visit - the aim is to have a robin in every cache around the world!
This is a busy area, and the site is quite exposed, so GREAT STEALTH is required.
