Daniel's Woods is a small geocache in Ramsbottom. It was set by Daniel whilst he was out with Hillgorilla. The cache is set in a part of Ramsbottom that many visitors do not come to, but one which is a hidden gem.
There is plenty of opportunity for walking near to the cache, and there are aso other caches nearby. The cache is located near to the bottom of Carr Bank Lodge Dam.
Please be careful if you go near to the lodge (lake) as it is deep, and it gets deep very quickly.
Also at one end (opposite to the end near to the cache )there is an unguarded drop into the water - so please be careful with children.
In the spring the lodge teems with tadpoles, and you may see a heron if you are lucky.
