Geocache Description:

This is an easy to find cache in a public park.

This cache lies in French Weir Park. French Weir Park is a well used park within 10 minutes walk of Taunton town centre beside the River Tone.

The Council bought the park in 1893, although it had previously been the site for the town's bathing station. There is a selection of mature trees and a footpath to the three sides of the park. The central area of grass is often used for games of football and cricket and on nice summer evenings, hot air balloons can be seen being launched.

This year (2009), the council landscaped and built a large play area which is well used.

The cache is the home of the "Travel Turtle" Geocoin that is currently on its travels around the world. When he returns to Turtle's Rest he would like to find lots of animal related items in his cache. We hope you can help!

The skill with this cache is to find it without anyone noticing.
