THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE ABOVE COORDINATES!
George Bush Park is a wonderful place for geocaching. Although
many start out fearing the unknown, once you spend a few days
hiking along the trails you realize that although you must always
be watchful of snakes and critters, it is actually not as scary as
people may assume.
Over the past several months there has been a dramatic increase
in the number of caches located within the park boundaries. We
decided that we would start a Puzzle cache series for "GeoCachers
Who Love George Bush Park" or "GCWLGBP" for short. We encourage
other folks to add to the series if they would like to, we will
keep adding a few now and then.
So, off to the first puzzle - an easy one to start! The degrees
are the only numbers correct above. To find the decimal minute
portion of the coordinates, you must figure it out from the text
below.
There was a recent meeting of the GCWLGBP club and the following
dialogue took place:
Donde Esta: "I like putting out challenging caches in
GBP."
Davarle: "We do too!"
Criffree: "Hiking along the trails is a lot of fun."
Benttandem: "Biking along the bayous can be a challenge,
but we love it!"
EasyGroomer: "I think you are missing out if you don't
cache it at night!"
Davarle: "We'll leave the night caching up to you."
Atennisbabe: "I couldn't agree more."
Silence from the group as snacks were served.
Easygroomer: "Really, you need to try caching at night in
GBP, it is a whole new experience."
Atennisbabe: "Maybe, but first I need to solve this
puzzle!"
From the conversation above, can you figure out the location of
the cache? The cache itself is a small container that has room for
some trade items. Good luck and have fun!
