7-sals biograf med store lærreder, digital lyd og de største film.
I 1997 takkede Strandbio af efter mange års tro tjeneste i Esbjerg og blev erstattet af BioCity. Biografen, der i 1984 blev overtaget af Nordisk Film, blev flyttet fra rundkørslen til en helt ny biograf ved Svømmestadion Danmark og Esbjerg Idrætspark. I efterårsferien 1997 kunne biografen slå dørene op med premiere på Nils Malmros’ ’Barbara’.

I thanked Strandbio of 1997 after many years of faithful service in Esbjerg and was replaced by BioCity. Cinema, which in 1984 was acquired by Nordisk Film, was moved from the roundabout to a whole new theater at the Swimming Stadium Denmark, Esbjerg Stadium. In autumn 1997 could turn the theater doors to premiere on Nils Malmros' 'Barbara'.
