An easy traditional located at some old ruins along the National Highway Adelaide and Port Augusta, please enjoy the natural history this place has to offer!
This cache was placed with my very good friend Mick during one of our regular trips to Port Augusta. We spotted the location and Mick said "You just have to place one of your cache thing's here"
At the cache location you will find the ruins of two old Churches from days gone by. There is also a cairn dedicating a memorial to the worshippers of the two Collinsfield Methodist Churches that stood here between 1878-1830 and 1830-1963.
The cache name relates to the inscription on the stone laid by Mr. Frederick Wheaton on July 23 1930. "Feed My Lambs"
Given the cache name we decided to make this a themed cache relating the name. So please keep to the lamb theme when swapping and enjoy the history of this location as you log your cache.
Cheers and Happy Hunting from Mick & Shane4
