This geocache is accessible from Michaleen’s Path on the East Coast Trail, with the best views starting from the Witless Bay side. Great walk, with beautiful scenery with beaches and cliffs.
You will enjoy fantastic view of a large cliff that has been faulted. The sedimentary rocks are clearly visible, with a major fault running down the ocean side of the cliff. Beautiful view, worth stopping for a snack and the view. Watch the whales and icebergs in the ocean if in season. This geocache is in a small lock-&-lock container covered with black wrapping tape, in a hole at the base of a spruce tree close to the path.
