Geocache Description:

Won't You Be My Neighbor
- Fred Rogers

"It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?

"It's a neighborly day in this beautywood,
A neighborly day for a beauty,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?

"I have always wanted to have a neighbor just like you,
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

"So let's make the most of this beautiful day,
Since we're together, we might as well say,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?

"Won't you please,
Won't you please,
Please won't you be my neighbor?"

Some neighborly and serendipitous things:
- combatnurse2003 published a new cache last night.
- BrewerMD was driving through the area, so she and ohjoy! decided to park a car at each end and walk the entire trail.
- Grey-Haired Geo Junkies pulled up just as they were going to start and joined them for the walk.
- after finding the fourth cache along the way, the comment was made about room for one more cache along the path.
- ohjoy! had a container, BrewerMD had a log book, and Grey-Haired Geo Junkies had swag and a pen. A cache was born.
- after saying that it was a beautiful day in the neighborhood, BrewerMD suggested the name and it was accepted.
- the thought was with all of them about caching friends - our "neighbors."

It is our guess that most of you or your children grew up with Mr. Rogers at your house and can sing the song above. If you want to learn more about him, you can go to: (visit link)

combatnurse2003, this one's for you for getting the neighborly ball rolling.
