Geocache Description:

This cache is up on the Tobacco River where it flows out of Thayer lake. It would be a good one to go padle the lake and do a little fishing. I think you will probably need a canoe or raft to get to the cache but with some serious bushwacking you will be able to reach it. I would plan for an hour plus. When we planted the cache we tried to paddle the whole river which ended up being a bad idea and 7 miles of paddling and seven of walking. The cache has some good trinkets in it so go get the ftf.
