Ghost Ship Traditional Cache
rockn'roll: Time to let my first ever geocache hide go. Still a great spot but the area is turning into a camp site or outdoor living area. Maybe I will have a cito here in the future........

This is a quick park and grab cache.
The container is cammoed waterproof match container. Bring your own writing device. Please put it back in the same spot as found, for everybody's enjoyment. The cache is named after a huge hull of a ship that was a ground at the point in front of you many years ago. You could only get to it at low tide. So many people were getting caught on it when the tide came in, it was soon gone, how you ask, I don't know, maybe it sailed away?. ( Update) The ghost ship was put there at the breakwater for the booming grounds that used to be in this bay. The old ship was K444. the logs were brought here by train, the old pilings you see are part of the wharf where the train dumped the logs. Nice place just to sit and relax, when I hid it, the ocean was full of Cruise ships..... Congrats and thank you to Team Jacobbi, not just for the FTF but also the history on the name and what the ship was doing there. I've added it to the description.
