Geocache Description:

The Wanagan Canoe Landing is the first campground after the Headwaters of the Mississippi River. Truly one of the greatest rivers in the world. This cache can only be accessed by canoe or kayak.

The cache is located near the Wanagan Canoe Landing and Camping Area in the Mississippi Headwaters State Forest. You will be looking for a camouflaged ammo can. The best time to look for the cache is in the day when the campers are heading down the river on their journeys. There is no longer road access to this area. You must canoe in about 4 miles from the Gulsvig Landing. Do not attempt to drive in. All roads that lead to the landing are private and posted. Please respect private property and canoe in.
