Cricket and beyond! Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

greedygreenfrog: Many, many thanks to The Red Squirrels for looking after this cache for me for over 2 years since our move to Singapore. As we are still not sure when we are going to return to UK I have decided it is time to archive the cache.

Geocache Description:

The above coordinates are for the start of this walk. THEY ARE NOT THE CACHE COORDINATES. You will need to follow the trail and answer the questions to find the cache coordinates. The cache is a small plastic sandwich box.

[The Greedy Green Frogs have moved to Singapore for 2 years. The Red Squirrels (theredsquirrels) have very kindly offered to keep an eye on our caches for us. Many thanks. x x ]

This cache has been planned and hidden by Teenage Greedy Green Frog!!

This cache hunt begins on Cradock Drive in the village of Quorn, on street parking is available in that area.

The cache can be found by answering the following questions then using the answers to find the coordinates for the cache.

Waypoint 1:
N52° 44.516
W001° 10.623
How many times does the word ‘Quorn’ appear on the cricket club sign? = a

Waypoint 2:
N52° 44.605
W001° 10.601
How many horses heads are on the see-saw? = b
How many bears are there in the play area? = c
How many words are on the bench in the play area? (include '&' as a word) = d

Waypoint 3:
N52° 44.668
W001° 10.666
How many vertical wooden posts are in the fence surrounding the young trees? = e

Waypoint 4:
N52° 44.787
W001 10.854
How many footprints are there on the footpath sign (look on both sides!) = f

Waypoint 5:
N52° 44.818
W001° 10.901
Look at the white plaque on the electricity pole. What is the middle number? = g

Now work out the final co-ordinates using
A = a
B = b x 2
C = c + d
D = e ÷ 4
E = f x 4
F = g

Substitute these numbers in the following coordinates to find the cache location:
N5A° B4.E73
W00F° C.0D7
